Financial support is badly needed. Funds have been requested 50K by

OPS has 140K for Dig Safely primarily for research.
The start of the foundation is in process and a search for an executive
director is in process. Three fold objectives - Best practices are adopted,
presentations for a unified program, communications with stakeholders. Dig
Safely comm. would be a sub comm. To CGA along with five others. Two board
members on each comm. as liaisons. Approved membership sponsorship, eliminated
the subscriber level, and will meet in Orlando on Friday.
5 million dollars of DP money that must be applied for by next month you
must provide 20% which can be done by showing your expenses.
You can go through state org. to apply for these dollars. OPS.DOT.GOV
tied to T21 grant money.
PG&E sent 50K for CGA and wanted a board member for those
monies. Individual memberships are 100 dollars, corporate memberships are
8K
and association memberships are 2K. Rich Felder is the senior advisor
deputy admin of OSP research special admin.
